Changing the Font Size on Your Browser
A web browser is special software for viewing web pages and documents on the Internet, or on an a network intranet. Browsers are designed with variable sized fonts to allow users to change the size of the font on the web pages. This provides accessibility to persons with different viewing needs. The size is determined by the user settings in your browser.
Increasing your font size will make the text on the webpage larger (and possibly easier to read), while decreasing your font size will make the text smaller, enabling you to see more of the webpage without scrolling. When the text is larger you will see less of the webpage, so you may want to decrease the font size before printing.
The two browsers with the current largest web use are Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape. Below are the steps to change the font size in the different versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape.
Internet Explorer 3.X & 4.X
View Menu - > Fonts -> Select Your Size

This may also be a button on your toolbar

Internet Explorer 5.X
View Menu - > Text Size -> Select Your Size

Netscape 4.X
View Menu - > Increase Font

Netscape 6.X
View Menu - > Text Size -> Select your size
The AOL browser 7+ is similar
to Netscape 6+, while earlier versions were similar
to Internet Explorer. AOL does allow you to use any
browser you want. If you don't know what browser you're
using, you can usually find out by looking in the Help
menu under 'About ...', where '...' is replaced by the
name of the browser. Selecting 'About' will bring up
specific version information.
