Minor s Provisional License Check List

To obtain a minor's provisional license you must be at least 16 years old, but under 18. The requirements are:

Provide proof of driver education/driver training completion.

Hold an instruction permit for a minimum of six months.

Provide a parent's signature on your instruction permit indicating that you have completed 50 hours of supervised driving (10 hours must be at night).

Pass the behind-the-wheel driving test (you must make an Appointment(s) and provide proof of insurance.) Call 1-800-777-0133 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday - Friday, to make a drive test Appointment(s) .
