What does it do?
Allows you to complete your registration renewal or file for Planned Non-Operation (PNO) Status without waiting in line. Multiple payment methods are offered and a registration card and sticker or PNO Acknowledgement are printed at the terminal after the completion of your transaction.

What can be renewed using the SST?

• Autos
• Motorcycles
• Pickups
• Commercial vehicles that do not pay Commercial Vehicle Registration Act (CVRA) fees
• Coach and Park model trailers

The SST cannot do the following:

• Renew any vehicle/vessel type not listed above as it requires the issuance of a different sticker inventory that is not available through the SST.
• Submitting proof of insurance
• Paying registration reinstatement fee
• Change of address

Where can I find one?
Inside the lobby of select field office locations and available during regular business hours. Look for an SST icon on your local field office web page to identify offices with an SST in the lobby.

What do I need?
Bring in your 8 ½ x 11 Renewal Notice DMV sends you each year - please make sure there is a Renewal Identification Number (RIN) present on the top left of the form
