This form is taken by the applicant to a Department of Transportation (DOT) certified trainer. The form is used to record the driver’s training hours and requirements for an original or renewal transit training certificate (VTT). A VTT is a document issued by DMV authorizing a person to drive a transit bus.

Classroom and behind-the-wheel training requirements are listed on page 2 of the DL 260. The driver presents the completed form to the examining agency when applying for an original or renewal certificate. Any falsification of information on this document may result in cancellation of the certificate.
