Fairfield DMV Field Office Closing for Renovations
Sacramento – The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is alerting customers that the Fairfield field office at 160 Serrano Drive is closing for renovations at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017.
The improvements include a number of building renovation and maintenance items to upgrade flooring, paint the interior, add cameras to the exterior, tint windows, repair the parking lot, and upgrade accessibility signage.
The Fairfield field office will reopen to the public at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.
The DMV reminds customers that online services may save them a trip to a field office. By visiting www.dmv.ca.gov, they can renew their vehicle registration and driver license, complete a change of address, request a driver record, and schedule an appointment.
Customers will be redirected to the following field offices until the repairs are complete:
|Vallejo||200 Couch Street, 14 miles|
|Vacaville||621 Orange Drive, 14 miles|
|Napa||2550 Napa Valley Corporate Drive, 14 miles|
|Davis||505 Pole Line Road, 30 miles|
