Redding Field Office Opens Temporary Office

Sacramento - The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is alerting customers that the Redding field office will open a temporary building at the same location, 2135 Civic Center Drive on Monday, March 3, 2014, at 8:00 a.m. The office closed for renovations on Friday, February 14, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. The temporary building will serve customers while the renovations of the permanent facility are completed.

The Redding field office has been at its current location since 1964 and is undergoing renovations which include additional square footage for more lobby space, reconfiguration of work areas and terminals, an upgraded HVAC system, new flooring, ceiling and lighting.

The DMV wants to remind customers that there are over 20 online services available on www.dmv.ca.gov. A few of those options are to renew your registration and driver license, complete your change of address, request your own driver record, and make an appointment.
