Pittsburg DMV Field Office Closing for Renovations July 11th

SACRAMENTO -The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is alerting local customers that the Pittsburg field office located at 1399 Buchanan Road is closing for renovations on Friday, July 11, 2014, at noon.

The renovations include replacing flooring, painting, and replacing furniture. The Pittsburg field office will reopen to the public on Monday, September 29, 2014, at 8 a.m.

The DMV wants to remind customers that there are over 20 online services available on www.dmv.ca.gov. A few of those options are to renew your registration and driver license, complete your change of address, request your own driver record, and make an appointment.

Customers and employees will be redirected to the following field offices until the renovations are complete:

  • Vallejo - 200 Couch Street, 28 miles away
  • Oakland - 5300 Claremont Avenue
  • Tracy - 2785 Auto Plaza Drive, 33 miles away
  • El Cerrito - 6400 Manila Avenue, 34 miles away
