Whittier DMV Field Office Closing for Renovations July 11th
SACRAMENTO -The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is alerting local customers that the Whittier field office located at 9338 S. Painter Avenue is closing for renovations on Friday, July 11, 2014, at noon.
The renovations include replacing flooring, painting, and redesigning furniture. The Whittier field office will reopen to the public on Monday, September 22, 2014, at 8 a.m.
The DMV wants to remind customers that there are over 20 online services available on www.dmv.ca.gov. A few of those options are to renew your registration and driver license, complete your change of address, request your own driver record, and make an appointment.
Customers and employees will be redirected to the following field offices until the renovations are complete:
- Montebello - 424 North Wilcox Avenue, 8 miles away
- Bell Gardens - 6801 So. Garfield Avenue, 9 miles away
- Fullerton - 715 - 909 West Valencia Drive, 10 miles
- Bellflower - 9520 East Artesia Blvd, 11 miles
- West Covina - 800 So. Glendora Avenue, 12 miles
- Westminster - 13700 Hoover Street, 15 miles
