Barstow DMV Field Office Reopens October 1st
SACRAMENTO — The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is reminding local customers that the Barstow field office located at 528 East Virginia Way is reopening on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at 9 a.m. The field office closed for renovations on Friday, August 1, 2014.
The renovations include replacing flooring, new paint, ADA upgrades, and vehicle control measures including speed bumps, parking stalls and restriping the motorcycle testing pattern.
The DMV wants to remind customers that there are over 20 online services available on www.dmv.ca.gov. A few of those options are to renew your registration and driver license, complete your change of address, request your own driver record, and make an appointment.
During the renovation, staff was sent to the Victorville field office to help with the possibility of increased transactions. Customers have been redirected to the following field offices until the renovations are complete.
- Victorville – 14855 Corta Dr, 32 miles away
- San Bernardino – 1310 N Waterman Ave , 69 miles away
- Redlands – 1659 W Lugonia Ave, 77 miles away
- Palmdale – 2260 E Palmdale Blvd, 80 miles away
- Lancaster – 1110 W Avenue I, 88 miles away
