Three Million Registration Renewals using Touch Screen Terminals
Sacramento – The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) announced today that there are now 50 DMV field offices with Self-Service Terminals (SSTs). An additional 15 DMV field offices recently received the blue and yellow terminals.

The SSTs are designed for customers to get vehicle registration cards and tags instantly. Customer need to bring in the renewal notice DMV sends in the mail or their current registration card.
