DMV Tips and Common Mistakes When Selling a Vehicle
DMV’s Spanish Speaking Answerman Explains the Process
Sacramento – The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) today released the fourth installment of the Spanish language video series, “El Sabelotodo del DMV,” (Mr. Know-It-All of DMV). In the latest episode, El Sabelotodo helps customers navigate DMV documents when selling a vehicle. Click here to view the video.
“If you are selling your vehicle, it is your responsibility to get a SMOG certificate first. Check the DMV website for some exceptions,” said El Sabelotodo del DMV. In this video, he also explains the process for reporting the sale of a vehicle to the DMV and what to do if you plan not to use your vehicle.
DMV’s El Sabelotodo is fast becoming as successful as his eccentric, award-winning English-speaking counterpart, the DMV Answerman, who debuted on DMV’s YouTube Channel in October 2012. So far, the El Sabelotodo video series has been viewed more than 20,000 times.
The El Sabelotodo series was written, produced, and edited entirely by DMV staff.
