DMV Assists Erskine Fire Victims at Kern County Local Assistance Center

Sacramento – The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will offer limited services to Erskine Fire victims at an assistance center being set up at the Woodrow Wallace Middle School, located at 3240 Erskine Creek Road in Lake Isabella.  The temporary center will be in operation beginning Friday, July 1, 2016 at 12:00 p.m.

Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. issued an emergency proclamation authorizing fee and/or penalty waivers for victims of wildfires in Kern County. Customers will be able to obtain at no cost, the following: duplicate driver licenses, identification cards, vehicle registration and title, and disabled person placards. In addition, they can acquire substitute license plates and stickers, vehicle disposal paperwork, driver record printouts and process a change of address.

                                                          Monday- Fridays:                                9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Closed: Monday, July 4
