Complete DMV Transactions at the California State Fair

DMV Now Self-Service Terminal Available at the DMV Information Booth

Sacramento – Visitors at this year’s California State Fair can complete vehicle registration renewal transactions and file for non-operation status by using DMV Now at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Information Booth. DMV Now is a self-service terminal that uses touchscreen technology to assist customers in completing their DMV transactions. DMV representatives will be available to answer questions that fairgoers may have about using the blue and gold terminals.

“Placing DMV Now at the California State Fair provides our customers with an opportunity to experience the convenience of using this popular terminal,” said Director Jean Shiomoto. “They will find out how quick and easy it is to instantly get their registration renewal card and license plate tags.”

To use DMV Now, customers must have the renewal notice they received in the mail or their current registration card. DMV Now accepts payments in cash, check, and credit or debit cards.

DMV staff will be available at the DMV Information Booth in Building C throughout the entire run of the California State Fair at Cal Expo,1600 Exposition Blvd, Sacramento. The fair runs July 8 to July 24.

DMV Now is currently located in 50 DMV field offices across the state. To find one near you, visit https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/detail/fo/fo_sst/.
