Complete DMV Transactions at the Los Angeles County Fair

DMV Now: Self Service Terminal Available at the DMV Information Booth

Sacramento – Visitors at this year’s Los Angeles County Fair can renew their vehicle registrations or file their vehicle under planned non-operation status by using DMV Now, a self-service terminal that uses touchscreen technology to assist customers in completing DMV transactions. The self-service terminal can be found at the DMV Information Booth located in Exposition Hall 4 where DMV representatives will be available to answer questions and demonstrate how simple it is to use the blue and gold touch screen terminals.

“Placing DMV Now at the Los Angeles County Fair provides our customers with an opportunity to experience the convenience of using this popular terminal,” said Director Jean Shiomoto. “They will find out how quick and easy it is to instantly get their registration renewal card and license plate tags.”

Customers must have the renewal notice they received in the mail or their current registration card in order to complete transactions using DMV Now. The self-service terminal accepts payments in cash, check, and credit or debit cards.

DMV staff will be available at the DMV Information Booth throughout the entire run of the fair, September 2-25, 2016. The Fairplex is located at 1101 West McKinley Avenue in Pomona.

DMV Now: Self Service Terminals are currently located in 50 DMV field offices statewide. To find one near you, visit https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/detail/fo/fo_sst/.
