Sacramento – The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is alerting customers that the Woodland field office will reopen Monday, May 13. The office, located at 825 East St., Suite 306, has been undergoing repairs after being struck by a vehicle April 14. The DMV apologizes for any inconvenience the unexpected closure has caused.

Service will resume six days a week, including Saturdays. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day except Wednesday, when the office opens at 9 a.m.

The DMV reminds customers that many transactions can be completed without visiting a field office, including vehicle registration and driver license renewals, and changing an address. Customers can renew their vehicle registration online or on the spot using a DMV Now Self-Service Terminal. Californians also can save time by filling out the driver license application online before they visit a field office.
