Add your ID to Samsung Wallet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now you can add your California driver’s license or state ID to Samsung Wallet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mDL is a voluntary, secure, digitized version of your state-issued driver’s license or identification card in Samsung Wallet. It offers even more security than the physical card because you can choose what personal information to share with others. It is currently the only mobile phone-based identification that TSA recognizes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to add your ID to Samsung Wallet<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. \n

    Open the Samsung Wallet app to the \u2018Quick access\u2019 tab and select the \u2018+\u2019 button.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  2. \n

    Select \u2018Digital IDs\u2019, tap the \u2018Driver License\/State ID\u2019 icon, then scan the front and back of your driver’s license or state ID.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  3. \n

    Follow the on-screen instructions for face scan verification.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  4. \n

    Select \u2018Submit\u2019 and authenticate by fingerprint or PIN.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n\n\t\t\t<\/ol>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

    \u2013\u00a0The mDL is currently authorized for limited usage.\u00a0<\/strong>There are many\u00a0participating airports<\/a>\u00a0across the United States.
