The lessee is <strong>not<\/strong> the registered owner and <strong>cannot<\/strong> make endorsements regarding vehicle ownership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lessor may authorize an agent to disclose odometer mileage readings. This agent may be the lessee or an employee of a dealership or financial institution.
