Sally Street, will temporarily expand its operating hours to include Fridays, in addition to its regular Tuesday and Thursday schedule. The additional Friday hours will begin on August 23 and continue until October 11, 2024, to accommodate customers while the Gilroy field office undergoes renovations. The Gilroy office is scheduled to reopen on Monday, October 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We want to keep DMV services accessible to residents during the renovation period at our Gilroy office,&#8221; said DMV Director Steve Gordon. &#8220;Adding Friday hours at the Hollister office helps us meet the needs of our customers in the surrounding communities.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hollister DMV Office Hours (August 23 &#8211; October 11, 2024)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tuesdays: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 8 a.m. \u2013 5 p.m.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thursdays: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 8 a.m. \u2013 5 p.m.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fridays: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 8 a.m. \u2013 5 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Before Going to an Office \u2013 Try Online First!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The DMV has taken many steps to offer additional digital services. Most DMV tasks do not require an office visit, including simple self-service transactions that are no longer available in offices. The DMV encourages customers to use its&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dmv.ca.gov\/portal\/dmv-online\/\">online services<\/a>&nbsp;and other service channels to complete transactions, including eligible driver\u2019s license and vehicle registration renewals.
