The office is scheduled to reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, November 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Until the renovations are complete, customers can visit the following area offices:<a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bakersfield: 3120 F Street (10 miles from the Bakersfield Southwest office)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arvin: 317 Campus Drive (21 miles from the Bakersfield Southwest office)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Taft: 165 Center Street (30 miles from the Bakersfield Southwest office). The Taft office is open only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delano: 631 Jefferson Street (38 miles from the Bakersfield Southwest office)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Before Going to a DMV Office \u2014 Try Online First<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most DMV tasks do not require an office visit. The DMV encourages customers to use its <a href=\"\/portal\/dmv-online\/\">online services<\/a> and other service channels to complete transactions, such as eligible driver\u2019s license and vehicle registration renewals.
