Department of Motor Vehicles Field Representative Merna Velasco was presented a Silver Medal today during ceremonies honoring 38 Medal of Valor recipients by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger at the Crest Theater in Sacramento. Honorees from several state departments and agencies were honored for demonstrating extraordinary acts of bravery and heroism to save the life of another.
