New Hellman Avenue Location Is Larger, More Spacious For Customers
Sacramento —The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) today announced that the Rancho Cucamonga field office will reopen to the public at 8 a.m., Monday, Feb. 27, 2012 at its new location: 8629 Hellman Avenue.
The old office on Archibald Avenue was closed on Feb. 10, 2012.
The new, 17,517 square–foot facility will achieve a “LEED Silver” rating for energy efficiency by the U.S. Green Building Council, and includes the following environmentally–friendly amenities: drought–tolerant landscaping, water–efficient plumbing and irrigation systems, and energy–efficient windows and lighting.
In addition, the office offers increased parking capacity to 189 spaces to meet customer needs, and improved customer flow inside the office. The office will be staffed with 39 employees that will service approximately 200,000 customers annually.
