San Bernardino DMV Office To Close Friday For Renovations
Beginning April 2, six area offices to open an hour earlier to accommodate customers

Sacramento – The California Department of Motor Vehicles is reminding local customers that the San Bernardino office located at 1310 North Waterman Avenue will be closing at noon on Friday, March 30 for renovations. The $2.6 million renovation, which will take 18 months to complete, includes structural reinforcements, larger lobby space for customers, and improved energy efficiencies.

Six nearby offices will open an hour earlier each day beginning Monday, April 2 to accommodate local customers affected by the San Bernardino DMV closure.

Opening at 7 a.m. on April 2:

Redlands, 1659 West Lugonia Avenue, 7 miles away
Fontana, 16499 Merrill Avenue, 11 miles away
Riverside, 6280 Brockton Avenue, 15 miles away 
East Riverside, 6425 Sycamore Canyon Blvd, 17 miles away
*Rancho Cucamonga, 8629 Hellman Avenue, 22 miles away
Norco, 3201 Horseless Carriage Road, 29 miles away

(*) – Note: On Wednesday April 4 only, Rancho Cucamonga will open at 9 a.m.
