Jackson Field Office to Close June 21, 2013 for Renovations

Sacramento – The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is reminding customers that the Jackson Field Office located at 201 Clinton Road will be closing on Friday, June 21, 2013, at 5 p.m. for a renovation project.

The office first opened in 1987 and is closing for 11 weeks to make much needed improvements. The office will reopen on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at 8 a.m. The renovations include office expansion, new paint, new ceiling, and new flooring.

Customers requiring in-person services will be redirected to the following nearby offices during the temporary closure:

The Jackson office is one of several facilities slated for maintenance, repair or renovation projects during 2013. DMV typically schedules about a dozen closures each year for varying lengths of time to address infrastructure deficiencies, upgrade mechanical and electrical systems and replace equipment and finishes.
