Hemet Field Office to Close for Renovations

SACRAMENTO — The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is reminding customers that the Hemet Field Office located at 1200 S. State Street will be closing on Friday, January 3, 2014, at 5 p.m. for the HVAC equipment replacement.

The office will reopen on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 9 a.m.

Hemet DMV staff members will be temporarily reassigned to nearby locations during the renovation.

The Hemet office is one of several facilities slated for maintenance, repair or renovation projects during 2014. DMV typically schedules about a dozen closures each year for varying lengths of time to address infrastructure deficiencies, upgrade mechanical and electrical systems and replace equipment and finishes.
