DMV Public Offices

Find your Local Field Office

DMV field offices provide vehicle registration and driver license/identification (ID) card services. You may use the regional maps to locate a field office by region.

Hours of Operation

DMV field offices are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (except holidays).

14 DMV field offices open at 7 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The offices will continue to open at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays and close at 5 p.m. daily.

Saturday Service

The DMV will soon open two additional field offices every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., bringing the total to 62 statewide. Behind-the-wheel exams are not offered on Saturday.

For faster service, make an appointment online or by calling 1-800-777-0133 before you visit a DMV office. Appointments can be made up to 90 days in advance.

To schedule a behind-the-wheel driving test appointment, you must call 1-800-777-0133 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and Wednesday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.(except holidays) to speak with a DMV representative.

ATM/Debit cards are accepted at all DMV offices.

Extended Hours

14 field offices open one hour early. The offices open at 7 a.m. four days a week. They open at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays and close at 5 p.m. daily.

Driver License Processing Centers (DLPC)

There are three DMV Driver License Processing Centers exclusively for driver license transactions.

Commercial Driving Test Offices

Inspector Offices

The Department of Motor Vehicles provides services to business license applicants from 19 Occupational Licensing Inspector Offices. Inspectors are frequently away from their offices performing field duties, so please call ahead for an appointment.
