If you are locked out of your account, wait 30 minutes and try to login again. If you still cannot login after 30 minutes, you will need to reset your account.

Account Not Found
All accounts are de-activated when not used within 18 months. You will need to reregister and become a certified user again. Go to www.dmv.ca.gov and click on the Register link at the top of the home page.

If you have recently renewed or replaced your driver license or identification card, you will not be able to register on our site until you receive the new card with the new issue date.
Note: If applicable, please make sure that you are entering a "zero" and not "O."
Payment Confirmation Not Received
If you paid online and did not receive a confirmation of payment, please allow 72 hours and then contact the DMV call center at 1-800-777-0133 or 1-877-563-5213. The call center business hours are Monday - Tuesday and Thursday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST and Wednesdays 9:00 am to 5:00 pm PST.
