Complete DMV Transactions at the San Diego County Fair

DMV Now Self-Service Terminal Available at the DMV Information Booth

Sacramento – Visitors at this year’s San Diego County Fair can renew their vehicle registration or file for planned non-operation status.
“Placing a DMV Now Self-Service Terminal at the San Diego County Fair provides our customers with an opportunity to experience the convenience of using this popular touchscreen terminal,” said DMV Director Jean Shiomoto. “They will find out how quick and easy it is to instantly get their registration renewal card and license plate sticker.”

The DMV Now Self-Service Terminal can be found at the DMV information booth located in the Exhibit Hall where DMV representatives will be available to answer questions and demonstrate how simple it is to use the blue and yellow kiosk.

Customers must bring their renewal notice or their current registration card in order to complete transactions on the kiosk. It accepts payments in cash, check, and credit or debit cards.

The public is encouraged to visit the DMV information booth from June 2 to July 4. The San Diego County Fair is located at 2260 Jimmy Durante Boulevard in Del Mar. Check the fair website for days and hours.

The DMV has expanded the DMV Now Self-Service Terminals to external locations. The touchscreen kiosks are now available in nine retail locations and at the University of California, Irvine. For a full list of the external locations, click here.

The terminals are also available during regular business hours at 60 DMV field offices. To find one near you, visit:
