You can conduct your DMV business by using online services, DMV kiosks, by phone, or by mail. These self-service alternatives allow you to avoid in-person field office visits and are a quick and easy way to save time. Taking care of business at your convenience is only a click, call, or mailbox away.

Online Services

You can complete a variety of DMV transactions online. Visit the Online Services page for more information. 

DMV Kiosks

DMV NOW kiosks use touchscreen technology to guide you through various DMV transactions. Kiosks are available inside select field office and retail locations. Visit the DMV NOW page for more information on what transactions can be completed at a kiosk and to find kiosk locations near you.

DMV Anytime

DMV has established partnerships with qualified industry partners and auto clubs to process vehicle related transactions from their online applications and remote locations. Visit the DMV Anytime page to find a service option for you.

Business Partner Automation (BPA) Program

DMV has paired with industry partners to create a BPA Program. The program allows eligible industry partners to process vehicle related transactions on behalf of DMV. For more details and locations, visit the Business Partner Locator webpage.

Contact Centers

Contact centers are available to assist customers with processing transactions and answering questions. You can call 1-800-777-0133 to do the following:

  • Use automated telephone services to complete the following:
    • Find field office information
    • Schedule or cancel appointments
    • Renew your vehicle or vessel registration
    • Pay your reinstatement fee
    • Submit an affidavit of non-use
    • Request DMV forms and publications
    • Get answers to frequently asked questions and information on DMV news
  • Ask to speak to a technician to answer questions on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.

  • Renew your vehicle registration
  • Renew your driver license (restrictions apply)
