Sacramento – The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is alerting customers that the Westminster field office at 13700 Hoover Street is closing for repairs at 5 p.m. Friday, January 25.

The office will continue to honor scheduled appointments for behind-the-wheel tests and vehicle verifications. All other appointments will be welcome at nearby field offices.

The Westminster field office is scheduled to reopen to the public at 8 a.m. Monday, February 11.

Customers will be redirected to the following field offices:

The DMV reminds customers that online services may save them a trip to a field office. By visiting www.dmv.ca.gov, they can complete a change of address, request a driver record, schedule an appointment, locate the nearest DMV Now Self Service Terminal (SST) and see if they are eligible to renew their driver license or vehicle registration online.
