Immediate Attention:

You will need a federal compliant card such as a passport, military ID, or REAL ID to board a domestic flight or access some federal facilities beginning October 1, 2020. The DMV started offering REAL ID driver licenses and ID cards on January 22, 2018. A field office visit is required to apply for a REAL ID.

In order to process your renewal, you must:

  • Use DMV’s recommended web browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Safari. Internet Explorer is currently not compatible with this online service.
  • Create an online account.
  • Be the person named on the renewal notice.
  • Not have a change of address.

You may not renew online if you wish to update or change your:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Gender

You may not apply online for a:

  • REAL ID for the first time
  • Reduced Fee DL/ID
  • No Fee DL/ID
  • Commercial Driver License
  • Senior ID
