Needles DMV Field Office Closes Due to Water Damage
Sacramento – The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is alerting customers that the Needles field office at 1040 E. Broadway Street is temporarily closed because of water damage.
The office has been closed since Tuesday, July 18, after a water main burst and flooded the facility. Repairs include drying out the space, touch-up painting, and replacing some baseboards, dry wall and cables. The office is expected to reopen with full services on Wednesday, July 26.
The DMV reminds customers that online services may save them a trip to a field office. By visiting www.dmv.ca.gov, they can renew their vehicle registration and driver license, complete a change of address, request a driver record, and schedule an appointment for a future date.
