San Bernardino DMV Office Reopening After Major Renovation

SACRAMENTO - The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) wants to inform customers that the San Bernardino office located at 1310 North Waterman Avenue will reopen on Monday, June 24, 2013, after a 15 month long renovation.

The office closed on March 30, 2012, for the $2.6 million renovation project, which includes structural reinforcements, larger lobby space for customers and to become more energy efficient.

Starting Monday, July 1, 2013, the following six nearby field offices will no longer open at 7 a.m. and will now open at 8 a.m.: East Riverside, Riverside, Norco, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga, and Redlands. The offices started opening an hour earlier in April 2012 to service customers affected by the San Bernardino closure.
