Temporary Redding Field Office to Close on December 5th
Newly Renovated Redding Office Set to Open
SACRAMENTO — The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is alerting customers that the temporary Redding field office located at 2135 Civic Center Driver will close on Friday, December 5, 2014, at noon. The temporary office opened in March while the Redding field office was undergoing renovations.
The newly renovated Redding field office located on the same site will reopen to customers on Monday, December 22, 2014, at 8 a.m. The renovations include adding additional square footage to the lobby area, reconfiguration of work areas, upgraded HVAC system, new coloring, ceiling, and lighting.
During the two week temporary closure, staff and customers will be redirected to nearly locations:

- Red Bluff – 675 Monroe Street, 30 miles away
- Weaverville – 1511 Main Street, 45 miles away (Closed daily from 12 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.)
- Mount Shasta – 154 Morgan Way, 62 miles away
